Junior Church & Crèche

Junior Church

We meet every Sunday (apart from the last of the month) during the Morning Service, from 10:30 – 11:30.  We start off in the main morning service, where the preacher will include an All-Age address, which usually involves children and the rest of the congregation participation.  On the last Sunday of every month, we join in with the All-Age worship service, which aim to involve children while giving a message that is meaningful  for us all.

At Junior Church, we cater for all children, from any and every church or non-church background.
Our aim is to introduce Bible stories to the children in a fun and meaningful way. We want to help children to understand and live Christian values and we teach this through fun activities and crafts.

Each Sunday morning an area with toys, is set up in the hall for use during the service.  A church helper and parent are always there to welcome and care for babies and toddlers.  A good chat is always had by the parents while the little ones have fun.

There is a simple nappy changing area in the toilet opposite the kitchen at the very back of the church.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to come and speak to us

We are also really delighted when babies or children are brought for baptism. Please do contact Rev Diane Hicks or Rev Ron Hicks on 01423 391530 or diane.hicks@methodist.org.uk or ron.hicks@methodist.org.uk if you would like to know more about baptism (sometimes called christening).
